This is a replacement for another fan in the same location, same mount. Quiet fan in final installation (see below). Works as expected cooling attic (too early to comment on life). Normal/easy mount. Excellent price. Application specific comments: MOUNT: I did have to get into the attic and access the fan twice. The first thermostat setting did not turn on the fan by 11AM here in FL (should go on by ~9AM on a sunny day). So while I was up in the attic resetting the Tstat, I took the time to redo the mounts. I used a home made isolating rubber type spacer between the mounting ears and the wall. This significantly reduced the noise transmitted from the fan to the house. Now all I hear is the actual sound of the fan blades with little or no vibration resonating in the house or wall.
